Im Sunny looks for the invisible power through the various media, such as image, painting, and drawing. The artist questions the phases of time and the image of a woman by using the lines, scenes, situations, and sounds of TV drama, which would domesticate us in a certain way, disguised as sympathy, sensitivity, and empathy.

During the residency, she plans to look for the history of Incheon and women's image expressed in the TV dramas, and the development in the forms of the discourse on popular culture, which she has developed in the meantime. She, based on the research data, hopes to understand the meaning and role of those(mass media, drama), and then study how the images that were imprinted on us, the phases of the times, and the image of woman, which was developed. Lastly, the artist wants to make a work that expresses how the public's fancy and discourse about women have changed.
